How special to hear from you again. It is so amazing how we get caught up in what we are doing, with life itself, with our children and work until we suddenly get shaken out of it all by a website like yours. Thanks for including us. It was wonderful to browse through your new web presentation. I listened to Ondine (after just having practiced it today - I shall play it in some of my concerts in the US in the next few weeks) - and it is so refreshing to hear a different reading, it inspired me! And yet we both grasp the essence of this music in a similar way. Harmony of sameness and diferentness ... and all the memories we have together! I cherish our friendship. Marina

Nice site! Having spent a week with Oresta in the summer of 2006, I would like to share my experience of her with others. As a musical coach, her ability to articulate the heart of a matter is great! Oresta's wonderful powers of musical perception, coupled with her compassionate humanity, give her the means to share ones vision and thus help them reach it. I know I progressed! Even though I have personally never seen Oresta perform, she left me with the impression that she must be a capable and emotionally articulate musician. Endlich habe ich mal Zeit, deine Homepage zu bewundern.Und es war ein Bewundern. ich ziehe den Hut vor dir. Du hast viel aus deinem Leben gemacht, viel daran gearbeitet. Ich bin sicher nicht der Kunstkenner wie viele Andere, aber ich habe große Achtung vor dem Künstler "Oresta" und den Menschen " Oresta" achte ich auch. Vor allem aber, hab ich dich einfach lieb. Ich freue mich, dich kennengelernt zu haben. Es macht Spaß mit dir zusammenzusein, dir zuzuhören und du weißt schon, besonders an den Abenden in der Theaterakadamie teilnehmen zu dürfen. Hi Oresta, Thanks to Joan`s advice and e-mail link I managed from deepest darkest Berlin to hear again the final concert of the 2012 Eppan/Appiano Festival over RAI Bozen/ Bolzano.I´m a Brit but pretty at home in Italian and after 12 years in Berlin can for sure handle tòther language, but I´m still amazed that I can escape from Germany to Bolzano, whistle up a taxi driver in perfect Italian and thereafter am back to German again.However, I just wanted to say how much I was yet again amazed at your accompaniment, or rather partnership with all of the singers. Any lesser mortal would have beeen well and truly daunted by the programme, its challenges and its total contrasts, but you were totally superb. I just want to say a sincere thanks. We Brits aren`t normally so forthcoming, but what the hell....Though I`m a singer - sort of ( though I have a Mahler 2 at the Royal Festival Hall under the belt ) - and was obviously hooked into the voices, I found myself this time listening again and again to the piano.I was in Appiano for the first time last year but for sure will be there again. I could see how much there was to do and how much adjustment to the needs ( and sometimes demands ) of the young singers was needed. You did it brilliantly, but given that I´m a teacher myself I recognised how much patience it takes, and how much you have to rein back, while actually knowing better than the rest of them. Having said that, it was great to see that you didn`t hold back too much, and for sure made a difference, even with the great but potentially formidable Frau Fassbaender.I know you said on the phone "It`s my job", but what a job! Also I hope this doesn`t sound too much like a fan mail. I simply wanted to say how much your part in the show came over on the broadcast, and how very very good it was. So many thanks for yet a second go at that final concert. Truly brilliant. See you in 2013? Best wishes, Maureen G
